Side button + Volume Up
Press the Side button (or Top button on older iPhones) and Volume Up at the same time, then release quickly. The screen will flash and the screenshot will appear in the bottom-left corner.
Without physical buttons (AssistiveTouch)
Go to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → AssistiveTouch and turn it on. Tap the floating menu → Device → More → Screenshot. You can customize the menu to add Screenshot for one tap.
Where screenshots are saved
Screenshots are saved to the Photos app and appear in the Screenshots album. From the thumbnail in the corner you can share, delete, or tap to edit.
