- What counts as a letter?
- By default only A–Z and a–z. You can often include numbers or all non-whitespace characters. Spaces and punctuation are typically ignored unless you change the option.
- Case-sensitive?
- You can choose: treat 'A' and 'a' as the same (case-insensitive) or different (case-sensitive). Case-insensitive is useful to find letters that repeat regardless of case.
- How is the result shown?
- Usually a list of letters that appear at least twice, sometimes with the count (e.g. e: 5). Order may be by first occurrence or by frequency.
