- How are sentences split?
- Sentences are typically split on period, question mark, and exclamation mark followed by a space or end of string. Abbreviations (e.g. Dr.) can be handled with simple rules to avoid false splits.
- Include vs exclude?
- Include mode keeps only sentences containing the keyword or matching the pattern. Exclude mode removes those sentences and keeps the rest.
- Case-sensitive?
- You can usually choose case-sensitive or case-insensitive matching. Regex is as given unless you use (?i) for case-insensitive.
